In general I have been ok with the very slow pace of weight loss over the last 4 months. I finally got below 150 a couple of weeks ago and that led to me feeling a bit more relaxed about logging food, especially since I was also busier with Thanksgiving and training more. But now I am ready to adjust my macros and hope to get the scale moving again because I really want to run my marathon at a more reasonable weight.
I decided to use the Keto Gains calculator from Reddit and have two different macro breakdowns, one for training days and one for rest days. I’ll be eating more protein and less fat that I was previously and I am really curious if I will see any change in the pace of weight loss by doing this. My macro goals:
Rest days – 1500 calories. 89 grams protein, 25 grams carbs, 116 grams fat
Workout Days – 1800 calories. 114 protein, 30 carbs, 135 fat.
